I don’t know how Caitlin and Patrick found the Farm at Ridgeway but I cannot imagine a more perfect space for them to have celebrated their vows. Consequently their wedding day was spectacular. Patrick’s funny sarcasm and Caitlin’s incredible smile could not be avoided on this beautiful Saturday. Most of all their personalities radiated throughout the entire day.
I love how they kept their day authentic to them. As a result it was filled with laughter, fun, and so many special touches. Patrick, got ready at their house surrounded by his close friends watching comedy videos. He and his father wore the Young family tartan for this special day. Caitlin’s dear friend and bridesmaid, Evelyn, readied Caitlin’s hair at the Farm surrounded by her Mom, sisters and friends. They spoke their ‘I dos’ in historic, Camden, SC. A place each call their hometown. In a beautiful tucked away church in downtown Camden, Caitlin’s uncle played the organ as guests arrived to witness their vows, and Caitlin carried her grandmother’s rosary with her bouquet down the aisle.
After the first kiss it was off on a picturesque drive through Kershaw county to continue to their The Farm at Ridgeway wedding. You were greeted by soft rolling hills, tall trees and tables welcoming their guests holding centerpieces built by Caitlin’s father. Furthermore guests enjoyed wedding cake made by a dear friend, there was dancing, laughter, and precious moments enjoyed with people that matter most.
In conclusion if you weren’t smiling, laughing, and maybe shedding a happy tear during the first dances, you were probably asleep in a corner. ; ) Most of all, we are so fortunate that we call these two amazing people friends. In addition to allowing us the opportunity to preserve their wedding day. It was beyond amazing. We wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. <3
