I am super lucky to have met the photographers I have thus far. To have been able to learn from Jenna from Jenna Marie Weddings second shooting and brainstorm sessions with her at the very beginning and most recently meeting Katie from Catherine Ann Photography with brainstorming and photographing adventures with her. Not only am I lucky, I feel fortunate that the women I am meeting in this industry are so amazing and super talented.downtown Charleston, SC

This is important to me for a variety of reasons. One, it’s nice to know I’m not the only who talks to her dog during the day or goes stir-crazy working from home. : ) It is also just plain nice to share your successes with people who totally know what it takes to get there. I think the most important one for me is building a relationships with super talented woman that I trust.downtown Charleston, SC natural light

These ladies are genuine and real.  I would trust them to take my pictures, to take care of me if I were their bride and it was my wedding. This is important because unfortunately photographers cannot be in two places at once. I know when I refer these ladies if I am unable to do a wedding they are going to provide the same amazing experience I would want my brides and grooms to expect. It is awesome having friends who have a variety of styles too because I know they provide the same authentic and intimate experience I would provide and I can ensure that when I refer them I really am sending people the best fit for them. For me, it is important to know that I am referring someone I trust and would equally hire for my own wedding.

As of late we have been getting together to take pictures together, sometimes of each other and continue sharing our journey’s together. Here are some pictures of our recent adventures with: Katie, Liz, Mackenzie from Click Chick Photography, and Jill from Aaron and Jillian Photography. These ladies are pretty freaking awesome. : ) Happy Thursday!
