This past Saturday night I was invited to photograph a Waterfront Park proposal.  It was amazing!  I am not sure who was more excited though, Michael or me. ; ) I spoke with Michael a few days prior to find out his plans.

Saturday happened to be his and Colleen’s one-year anniversary, and he had prepared for them to go downtown, enjoy the afternoon walking around, and a celebratory dinner at 82 Queen. During the walking around part I was planned to find them in Waterfront Park.  This is where Michael took Colleen by the water, got down on one knee, and proposed. As you can see Colleen said yes. : )

After she said yes I introduced myself and the three of us went around the park to document this special moment for them. I have to say being a part of a proposal like this truly makes me feel so fortunate. I love being able to capture these moments and giving Colleen and Michael a story for their grandchildren about how Michael plotted to propose, how nervous he was, and how happy they both were that he did.

Congratulations to you both!  I wish you guys the happiest of years for your future together.  Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this beautiful and romantic moment!the smiths do lovecharleston engagement photographersengagement photographer charleston scWaterfront Park proposal
